India is celebrating its 76th Republic Day with a colorful parade displaying its military might and cultural diversity at a ceremony on a boulevard in the heart of country’s capital.

The celebration parade will have the newly-elected Indonesian President, Prabowo Subianto, as the Chief Guest.

India was declared a sovereign republic by the country's first Governor-General, Chakravarti Rajagopalachari on January 26, 1950, at 10:18 AM.

As India gears up for its 76th Republic Day on January 26, 2025, the parade promises a vibrant display of cultural heritage with 31 tableaux, military contingents, and the Chief Guest from Indonesia.
