Penn State pass rusher Abdul Carter is viewed as one of the top players in the 2025 NFL Draft, but his medical evaluation could complicate his stock. According to ESPN, tests revealed this week at the Scouting Combine in Indianapolis that Carter has a stress reaction in his right foot, and could undergo surgery.

Carter finished his career at Penn State as a unanimous All-American and the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year, leading the country with 24 tackles for loss as well as 12 sacks and 68 combined tackles. He is among the most explosive pass-rushers to hit the draft in the past few years, and Yahoo Sports' most recent mock draft has him going No. 2.

Carter, the former La Salle College High School and Penn State star, believes he's the best player in the country. As such, he's extremely unlikely to be able to keep rooting for the Eagles.
