LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Kentucky State Police are investigating a crash in Franklin County that left a 16-year-old dead. The crash happened on I-64 at the 59-mile marker around 11 a.m. Sunday. In their preliminary investigation, KSP said a 2017 Toyota Highlander was headed west on I-64 when it collided with a 2020 Toyota Corolla.

James Ross Wightman, 65, was jailed on Friday and charged with six counts of illegal voting, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

Kentucky State Police are investigating a deadly multiple-vehicle crash in Franklin County. They say it happened around 11 a.m. Sunday, on I-64 westbound at mile marker 59 before Versailles Road. According to KSP,

Troopers said a 16-year-old boy from Fayette County was ejected from the Highlander and seriously injured. He was taken to the Frankfort Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead by the Franklin County Coroner’s Office. An investigation into the crash remains ongoing.

A teenager was killed in a crash on Interstate 64 Sunday morning, according to Kentucky State Police. A little after 11 a.m., KSP was called to investigate a crash on I-64 in Franklin County near the 59-mile marker in the westbound lane.

Just before 1:30 p.m., the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet told FOX 56 that the left lane of I-64 westbound is open and traffic is moving slowly while the right lane remains closed. State police said the closure could last several hours.
