When it rains, it pours. The New Jersey Devils are already dealing with an injury to their No.1 goaltender. Add another injury to the list, as the Devils captain left the third period of New Jersey’s tilt with the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday night.

According to head coach Sheldon Keefe, New Jersey Devils center Nico Hischier (undisclosed) is viewed as "day-to-day" following his early exit during Saturday's contest. Hischier sustained this injury during the third period.

The Devils had another injury scare during Saturday's game, as Nico Hischier was forced to the locker room early in the third period and was unable to return for the overtime win.
