The Broncos punt returner got leveled on a return during Denver's wild-card game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. He then got penalized for responding after being taunted on the play. The penalty gave the Broncos a longer field on a drive that ultimately ended in a missed field goal.

Late in the second quarter of Sunday’s playoff game against the Buffalo Bills, Denver Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims took a huge hit on a punt return, then a Bills player stood over him. Mims retaliated by pushing a player, causing a scuffle. The officials then penalized Mims for unnecessary roughness.

The Denver Broncos weren’t expected to be this good. They drafted a rookie quarterback in Bo Nix after parting ways with Russell Wilson. Especially in a division that featured the behemoth Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Chargers, it was a tall task to be a playoff team.
