Senate Bill 104 requires K-12 and college students at public and private schools to use bathrooms and locker rooms that match their sex assigned at birth.
The Columbus School board is expected to discuss whether to rescind its transgender bathroom policy after debating whether to defy a state law.
Among the amendments are an additional $5 million to the Community Shelter Board for homeless shelters, $2 million for the Columbus Promise and $500,000 for civil rights and immigration initiatives.
