The Golden State Warriors reportedly may once again be part of the Jimmy Butler sweepstakes. According to Kevin O'Connor of Yahoo Sports, the Warriors

Since a 12-3 start that has proven to be a heaping haul of fool's gold, the Golden State Warriors have lost two out of every three games over the last two months with a bottom-five offense and bottom-10 defense.

Butler has been the face of Miami’s team since arriving in the summer of 2019 via a trade from Philadelphia, helping the Heat make two NBA Finals appearances. He has previously made waves on his way out of Chicago and Minnesota in trades and is averaging 17 points in 25 games so far this season, his lowest average in more than a decade.
