Sri Lanka have named a squad largely unchanged from the one that toured New Zealand in January this year for the two ODIs against Australia at home later this week. The one change is that seam-bowling allrounder Chamindu Wickramasinghe is out as the squad has been trimmed from 17 for that New Zealand series to 16.

Both ODIs of Australia's tour of Sri Lanka will be broadcast live and free on Channel 7 and the 7plus app, with both to begin at 3:30pm AEDT. It's the first non-Ashes overseas men's tour shown on free-to-air TV in Australia since Mark Taylor's team played in South Africa in 1997.

Former Sri Lanka test skipper Dimuth Karunaratne will retire from the format after his 100th match, the final test of Sri Lanka's two-test series against Australia in Galle on Thursday.

The Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) named a 16-man squad for the upcoming two-match ODI series against Australia. The squad is almost similar to the one that played the ODI series in New Zealand last month, with the exception of seam-bowling all-rounder Chamindu Wickramasinghe, who has been left out.

Sri Lanka are set to host Australia in the 1st ODI of the two-match series at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Wednesday, February 12, as Charith Asalanka's men eye revenge for their recent Test series thrashing at the hands of Steve Smith's men.
