The first day of the Big Ten Wrestling Championships is over inside Welsh-Ryan Arena on the campus of Northwestern — and Penn State is again poised to dominate. The Nittany Lions sit in first place of the team race after sending six wrestlers into the conference finals.

Penn State is after another conference crown, and the effort is now underway at the Big Ten Wrestling Championships in Evanston, Illinois. The Nittany Lions are trying to win their fourth straight conference title and the ninth under coach Cael Sanderson.
