With tensions high and immigration policies changing, it may be difficult to know what to do in a situation when immigration and customs enforcement agents approach.

Nearly 1,000 people were arrested by federal agencies in a blitz to enforce immigrations policies across the United States, according to multiple reports.

Border czar Tom Homan told NBC News that several people with criminal convictions were apprehended in Chicago.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement are carrying out operations across the state, and that does include in Houston, and also in Galveston.
