Dubbed "Arsenal-1," the $1 billion Pickaway County factory will be the largest job-creation project in Ohio history, state officials say.
The Ohio Tax Credit Authority approved a 2.594%, 30-year “job creation” tax credit to support Anduril Industries’ planned manufacturing facility in Pickaway County. The tax credit has an estimated value of $452,263,789, Ohio government said.
Anduril Industries to build a significant defense tech facility in Ohio, potentially creating over 4,000 jobs by 2035.
The project, expected to bring over 4,000 new jobs to Ohio by 2035, marks the largest single job creation and new payroll initiative in the state's history.
On top of bringing over 4,000 jobs, the development will also bring in more tax revenue helping schools and roads in the area.

The facility will focus on producing autonomous weapons systems, representing a nearly $900 million investment that is expected to contribute $1 billion annually to Ohio’s economy.
Anduril’s factory just south of Rickenbacker International Airport is expected to generate an additional 4,500 jobs among suppliers, services and indirect employment. Overall, the Ohio Department of Development projects $2 billion in economic activity and $800 million in tax revenue, according to a press release.
