The film tech company rode the China Lunar New Year ticket sales hitting its own record high of $1.3 billion on the strength of local releases like 'Ne Zha 2.'

China’s film market enjoyed a record-breaking Lunar New Year, amassing $1.31 billion in total box office revenue over the seven-day holiday period.

There are more box office records for Imax coming out of the just-concluded Chinese New Year holiday with the company notching its biggest ever haul for the annual period. Grossing $53M, Imax exceeded its previous record of $34M,

On seven day, Deva has grossed ₹28.04 crore in India, despite a steep decline in earnings. The film, featuring Shahid Kapoor, Pooja Hegde, and Pavail Gulati, is directed by Rosshan Andrews and is based on the Malayalam film Mumbai Police.

Magizh Thirumenis directorial starring Ajith and Trisha among other notable cast is titled Vidaamuyarchi. The action-thrillers Telugu version called Pattudala also hit the screens on Feb 6. Across the two Telugu states,
