Guy Busick, who also wrote Scream 5 and Scream VI, will write the script for Scream 7, while Roger L. Jackson will return as the Ghostface voice. Also in the mix are Joel McHale as Sidney's husband, Mark Evans, and Mark Consuelos, Scott Foley and Ehtan Embry in undisclosed roles.

Mason Gooding has provided some details about Scream 7. The seventh Scream feature, which is currently in production in Atlanta, will see the return of Gooding as Chad Meeks-Martin. The actor first played the character back in 2022 and reprised the role in Scream VI in 2023.
