Bloomberg News, citing anonymous sources, reported on Thursday that Turkey is open to sending personnel to a peacekeeping force in Ukraine. The Bloomberg report stated that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan discussed the matter with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during separate meetings in Ankara earlier this month.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov plans to visit Turkey next week as part of his regional tour, sources familiar with the matter told Middle East Eye. Lavrov is expected to be in Ankara on 24-25 February, according to one of the sources.
