The Central Coast Veterans Memorial Museum features an amazing collection of authentic historical military exhibits that include artifacts, documents, pictures, firearms, and uniforms. We are open to the public Wednesday through Saturday from 10AM – 3PM.

Visitors can explore this treasured San Luis Obispo museum, open 10am – 3pm Wednesday to Saturday, with year-round displays, interactive kiosks, exhibitions, and educational programs celebrating the legacy of Central Coast Veterans and others who have served our nation from WWI to Post 9/11.

Since CCVMM opened in 2002, our collection of artifacts, documents, pictures, firearms, and uniforms has continually grown thanks to the donations of people from communities on the Central Coast and throughout the United States.

We share the stories of local veterans and military history, preserve historic artifacts, offer education programs, guide public and schools tours, and serve as a repository & archives. Museum hours are Wednesday to Saturday 10am-3pm. Museum admission is free.

Our museum has recorded over 500 veteran stories, working in conjunction with the Library of Congress to collect first-hand accounts of Americans who have served our country in the U.S. Armed Forces and in supporting civilian industry, as part of a nationwide Veterans History Project.

Great and interesting place to visit with helpful veterans that guide you through the museum. Very interesting and real artifacts from all major wars, starting with World War 1. The armory that is in the museum shows interesting weapons and their history.
