The Castle is located near the Activities Fields at Cub World. This large stone building sleeps 72 people. A deck wraps around the entire structure with two turrets in the front on the second story. A large courtyard runs through the center of the Castle. There are 14 sleeping rooms and two large activity rooms.

AOL Scouts will spend their last night on Outpost, the highlight of the Cub World experience. All Scouts and leaders will enjoy the accommodations at the Fort, the Castle, the Mountain Man Village, or the Miners Camp.

They stay overnight in either a wooden pioneer fort, a medieval stone castle or canvas tents in two campsites: one on a hillside, the other near a gold-mining creek. These sites aren’t just for sleeping — the castle and fort have plenty of room for activities — plus a couple of turrets, which are the perfect places for games and crafts.
