The Ohio State University has been curating its public art collection for over 30 years, enhancing the campus environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors, and reflecting the creative culture we aim to foster.

Our campus is filled with public art in the form of 18 life-size bronze sculptures, most of which have been generously donated by J. Gilbert and Louella H. Reese, through their Thomas J. Evans Foundation. Take a walking tour of campus to see them all, or enjoy the images below.

Traditional concerns have evolved to include site, language, sound, time, light, and movement, enabling our sculpture students to develop new ideas and approaches with their interactive installations, performance, video, social practice, and hybrid forms of art.
