Jan 27, 2022 · The issue with V-ism is that it sets up A LOT of infinites, so it breaks the idea of playing 'Street Fighter' and turns it into a 1-touch kill game instead. Alpha 2 also has some high damage custom combos (namely, Rolento who can ToD with 3 bars); but to do a lot of damage with them takes all 3 bars and doesn't kill (except for Rolento).

Dec 31, 2019 · A2G is based off of Zero 2 Alpha which had some tweaks. I prefer Z2A but it never really caught on in tournament circles. I wrote a FAQ on the differences if you'd like to see what's been changed. Short version? I'd take A2G any day. Easier ways to pick alternate fighters, simpler Original/Custom Combo inputs, some new moves and Cammy doesn't hurt.
