I don't think it's the hardest street fighter. Street fighter 4 eventually became a harder game to play than third strike by the time ultra was around. That's competitive I was referring to. Street fighter 3 had a harder arcade mode than 4, but again, street fighter 2 is significantly harder. The AI in SF2 straight up breaks rules.

Jun 25, 2017 · than i tried something else if i go to emuparadise and search for street fighter 3rd strike there is the normal sfiii3 zip and something called CHD. in the comments below some say you needs to create a folder sfiii3 and put the CHD in it. this doesent work either :(

Third Strike is immediately noticeable from it's predecessors. The Alpha sprites, while good, were criminally overused between all the Alpha and VS games--seriously they're in pretty much everything from a 10 yr span.

Dec 12, 2022 · Parrying is an awesome and unique mechanic in third strike but trying to do it on reaction will often lead to you getting hit. Focus on blocking, positioning, range, etc. Parries can be bait for new players, I wish someone gave me this advice when I started playing.

Jun 16, 2015 · I have to object to this. The game is not dumbed down. Third Strike's neutral is just a lot faster paced because of the parry mechanic which really destroys any zoning attempt, so it's mostly oki/yomi/footsies out the ass, whereas SF4 is far more steady paced and methodical because you can't just jump in and air parry everything into a huge punish.
